Frequently Asked Questions
What will happen if I’m late for a performance?
If you’re running late to a performance you will be admitted at the first suitable break determined by the promoter. Some performances and events have a very strict lock-out policy to ensure that seated audience members and performers are not disturbed and the earliest you may be admitted is interval.
We suggest you get to the venue early to avoid disappointment, and to enjoy a relaxing start to your evening. The Foyer Bars are open 1 hour prior to performance, during interval, and after the performance.
Do you have a dress code?
No, wear whatever you feel comfortable in so you can relax and enjoy the performance.
Can I use my phone in the theatre?
It is a requirement of entry into performances that you turn your mobile phone off completely. Switching your phone to silent may eliminate the sound, but the light may disrupt other audience members.
Can I take photos of the performance?
Taking photos during performances is not permitted. It is a violation of copyright laws and flash photography can cause a safety hazard to performers. You will be reminded of this prior to the performance beginning. If you are seen using a still or video camera, you will be asked to stop and your camera may be confiscated by an usher.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend you arrive at the theatre at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the show, especially if you need to pick up your tickets from the Venue Box office. This will allow you sufficient time to find your seats before the performance starts.
