Perth Theatre Trust gains new expertise
Julian Donaldson appointed to the board of the Perth Theatre Trust
The chief executive officer of the National Trust of Australia (WA), Julian Donaldson, has been appointed to the Perth Theatre Trust board for three years.
Mr Donaldson was the previous general manager of the Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF).
During his tenure with PIAF, the festival grew its audience, artistic influence, reputation and community reach, and gained substantial increases in sponsorship and funding.
Mr Day welcomed the new appointment to the PTT board.
"This appointment makes available to the Trust the significant arts management expertise of Mr Donaldson," he said.
Perth Theatre Trust is responsible for the management of the State Theatre Centre of WA, His Majesty's Theatre, Subiaco Arts Centre and the Albany Entertainment Centre. It is also responsible for the lease of the Perth Concert Hall.
