Geoffrey Robertson visits WA

Geoffrey Robertson to bring his one-man show to Perth

International lawyer Geoffrey Robertson QC will perform his first one-man show at His Majesty’s Theatre on 5 May 2015.

Perth Theatre Trust Chairman, Hon Peter Blaxell, said the Trust was proud to support the human rights lawyer’s Perth show.

“I am thrilled that Geoffrey Robertson will appear on stage at His Majesty’s Theatre — one of the State’s most iconic cultural venues — with his new show, Dreaming Too Loud,” he said.

“This is an opportunity for local audiences to see one of the world’s leading legal minds provide a rare insight into his life through archival footage, personal stories and revelations.”

Filled with his unique brand of occasionally outrageous observation and candid wit, Dreaming Too Loud will be a journey through the highlights and lowlights, the many iconic moments and the public and private events that have marked Geoffrey Robertson’s life.

Mr Blaxell said by securing Geoffrey Robertson’s WA visit the Perth Theatre Trust was demonstrating its new operational model and vision of attracting not only wider audiences but also a diverse range of entertainment to its venues.

Geoffrey Robertson is the founder and head of Doughty Street Chambers, the United Kingdom’s leading human rights practice. He lives in London and is the well-known presenter of Hypotheticals.

Geoffrey Robertson’s show Dreaming Too Loud is touring nationally in May presented by Asia Theatricals commencing in Sydney on 2 May 2015.
