New catering contractors for key WA theatres
Three of Perth’s flagship arts centres are seeking food and beverage operators.
Culture and the Arts Minister John Day said the tender provided an opportunity to revitalise the bars and cafes at the State Theatre Centre of WA, His Majesty’s Theatre and the Subiaco Arts Centre.
“Hospitality is not the main reason someone attends a show, but it’s a key part of the overall experience,” Mr Day said.
The request is part of the State Government’s decision for the Perth Theatre Trust to resume direct management of the three venues, under a model to increase the quantity and diversity of performances.
